Rangers midfielder Kazeem Ogunleye says the partnership with Nweke Kalu has aided his performance for the club.
Both players have continued to provide the needed firepower for Rangers in the Nigeria Premier Football League this season.
Kalu has netted three times, while Ogunleye has six goals to his name for Fidelis Ilechukwu’s side in this campaign.
“Nweke is a top-class player and one who is always full of banter. He’s a great guy and we have a good relationship both on and off the pitch,” he told Lodgexpress.
“We both give ourselves extra motivation before games, It’s always nice to have that kind of support from your teammates.
“Absolutely, football has always been a team sport, and sometimes it’s not about who scores the goals, but rather about the collective effort.”
