Rivers United assistant coach, Evans Ogenyi has backed Lobi Stars to win the 2023-24 Nigeria Premier Football League title.
Ogenyi urged the Pride of Benue not to relent on their laurels in the current campaign.
Lobi Stars are top of the NPFL table with 46 points.
“If Lobi Stars are not good they can’t be where they are, No doubt Lobi Stars are a good side,” he stated.
“They have been taking the chances that came their way in games. A team that takes chances wins games.
“I wish them well and I pray for them not to relent until they get to the end.”
Lobi Stars will trade tackles with Rangers at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Sunday.
